In a time of increasing cynicism and ultra competitiveness surrounding youth and high school sports, Coach Pringle is a beacon of optimism. I have never met a person who is as giving of his time and abilities as Coach Pringle. Coach Pringle is committed not only to the athletic success of our kids but to their success off the court as well. I believe our area is truly blessed to have a man of Coach Pringle?s character and ability available to work with our kids. My son is a junior in high school and has been with the DAP program for a little over one year. In that time, my son?s game has improved immeasurably. Additionally, and more importantly, Coach Pringle has been a tremendously powerful mentor for my son, as well as the other kids within his program, which is helping them to not only grow as players, but to make positive choices off the court, at the time in their lives when they are the most vulnerable to outside influences. We will always be thankfull for Coach Pringle.

I have watched Coach Pringle build winning teams. He blends his deep understanding of the technical aspects of the game, with his extraordinary commitment to each player. He understands to role fellowship and team building plays in producing cohesive teams that gel on and off the court. He produces players that go onto become coaches and continue to love the game.

What can I say! Coach Pringle is an amazing man of God and his relationship with my son has been such a blessing. My son had a difficult year with his high school team and Pringle has put the passion back into Jon's heart with a desire to not just play but to persevere and believe in his gift of athleticism. With Pringle, it's more than basketball, he has been a mentor on character, leadership and relationships. Coach Pringle will be in Jon's life till the end of time.

My 2 sons have played AAU BB for Derrick Pringle for the past 3 seasons including 2012. Derrick is an amazing man. To say that he is about more than basketball would be a tremendous understatement; he's about life & faith. But if you want the part about the basketball, here it is: Last year, my older son was a Junior and brought along a teammate who had not played much varsity ball at all (but it was assumed he would start at point guard). We also brought along a neighboring school's point guard. One Spring AAU Season with Pringle; one set of awesome practices with cool drills (find THAT on other AAU teams); one season in which we won One Game Total.... That's right. ONE. These 3 kids were all First Team All-League the next year.. Yup. Even the one who hadn't played much. My younger son (age 15-freshman) is playing for Derrick now..... and yes, he's in a bit over his head, but not too much. He'll be a better player and a better person for knowing Derrick. And me, too. I have noticed the growth in my grandson, physical, mental and spiritual. His growth has enable me to grow spiritual also with patient. My grandson has learned the fruit of the spirit , self-control .In addition, he learning to use the skills God have bless him with.
